Hacienda La Esmeralda’s journey began in 1940 and transformed into a co ee farm in the mid-1980s. The Peterson family developed the land for co ee production, with a focus on high-altitude environments. Their dedication led to the discovery of the Geisha variety’s remarkable flavors in 2004.

Today, they continue to experiment with co ee varieties and processes, aiming to discover the next great co ee.

León 5FB is a washed Geisha from the Cañas Verdes farm in Panama, grown at an altitude of +1683 MASL. The co ee boasts delicate flavors of jasmine, apricot, and orange, thanks to the farm’s ideal climate and meticulous processing.

With an average rainfall of 3,500 mm annually, this co ee reflects the exceptional terroir and expertise of the Peterson family.
